In large or detailed mind maps, you can use the Branch Focus feature to focus on a particular branch and its sub-branches and ignore other elements.
Select the branch that
you want to focus on.
Choose View
| Branch Focus
.
The selected branch (with all sub-branches, if any) is magnified and moved to the center of the map workspace, and all other elements in the mind map are hidden. Any branch connections to or from the branch that has branch focus are also hidden.
If you want to focus on the branch without
its sub-branches, collapse the sub-branches by clicking the minus
button before applying branch focus. For more information,
see "Expanding
and collapsing a branch" in "Viewing
a mind map".
When printing a mind map, only the visible branches are printed. If you
need to print the entire mind map, clear the branch focus before printing.
For more information, see "Printing
a mind map".
Choose View
| Branch Focus
again to switch of the
branch focus feature and display the entire mind map.
If you close a mind map to which you have applied branch focus, the branch
focus will still be active the next time you open the mind map.
You can also focus on particular map
elements by map hierarchy, selecting how many levels of branches should
be displayed in the mind map. For more information, see "Changing
the detail level" in "Viewing
a mind map".
